Where We Smoke

We smoke most often at our closest and most favorite cigar lounge, Habana House Cigar Lounge (North). The lounge is located on the 183-Northbound feed road, just before the Lake Creek signal. It’s a fantastic cigar lounge with a giant walk-in cedar-lined humidor, which features the best selection of cigars I’ve found in all of Austin! There you can find our friend Jim, who runs both the north and south Habana House locations. He and all the employees there are very knowledgeable, so if after reading our reviews you’re still not sure which to try, just ask! You won’t be disappointed.

Habana House offers a wonderful lounge area with leather chairs, as well as several tables more suited to working and hanging out with a group of friends. If there’s a sports game on, it’s already on one of the many TVs for you to enjoy. They are open late and have a great crowd of regulars who have quickly become our friends. You can also join their membership program for discounts if you’re a frequent smoker like we are, and even rent a locker to store your cigars, accessories, or drinks you enjoy while smoking. Jim has a long history with Xicar as well, so the cigar lounge also offers a great selection of cigar accessories. We have one of the Nub cigar punch kits, a La Palina ash tray, and I’m sure more accessories to come (we like surprising each other with cigar-related gifts often).

Jim also hosts large cigar events often at both locations for Habana House, so sign up for their mailing list to know when to come to events for your favorite cigars! These events generally feature great music, lots of people, food, prizes, and alcohol, so they are always a fun way to spend an evening!
