This big, bad, bold cigar really packs a punch. The wrapper is a deep brown with an earthy and coffee smell, packed tightly. It comes with a long twist cap which looks not unlike a bomb, and loose ends. This stick burns nice and smooth, producing a long ash. The wrapper is Mexican San Andres, with a unique Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan filler. The smoke starts out with deep oak, earth, and chocolate tones. It has just a hint of wild bitterness which grows stronger through the length of the smoke. Mid-way through, some sweetness morphs into hay notes. I was very impressed by the quality of flavors, tight composition, and length of the smoke. A truly unique and bold cigar from the Kristoff line!
